Queen Elizabeth II turns 90.
Most festivities will be celebrated in
June. On her real birthday the
Queen will spend the day at
Windsor Palace.
André Rieu composed a waltz for
her as a birthday present.

April 2016: The real Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 90.
Queen Elizabeth II of the House of Windsor. Queen of the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and head of
the Commonwealth. Daughter of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (who died at the age of almost 102).
Married to (a Danish/Greek Prince) Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. They got four children: Charles, Anne,
Andrew, Edward. In 2015 she surpassed the reign of her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria, to
become the longest reigning British Monarch and the longest reigning Queen regnant in world history.
“The King’s Speech” is a famous and touching film about Her Majesty’s father, King George VI.
