November 6, 2022. André Rieu and André van Duin have known each other for a long time and have developed a great friendship. The two André’s performed together on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the Dutch Zip Code Lottery. André van Duin is a beloved Dutch comedian who used to play various characters. Both performed together many times for the Dutch National Postcode Lottery and van Duin has been a special guest in many of André’s concerts in Maastricht and Amsterdam. As usual he makes a mess in the orchestra! Our Maastricht friend Jean Raemaekers found this video clip on the Internet. Thanks Jean! We save it in our Golden Oldies section. You can see André van Duin in three appearances back then when the Johann Strauss Orchestra consisted of only 18 members. Renate Dirix played the bassoon.
