André Rieu is celebrating his 75th birthday. That's why the king of the waltz invites you on a boat trip with
him and his beloved Johann Strauss Orchestra through his hometown of Maastricht.
This new cinema concert is an ode to André's boyhood dream of one day having his own orchestra and
travelling the world with it. The film shows a selection of André's favourite and most spectacular
international performances and some of the most beautiful musical moments that the Maestro and his
orchestra have experienced during their decades-long collaboration.
The vast majority of the concerts in this film have never been seen on the big screen before. To celebrate
this great milestone, you now have the chance to see these iconic André classics for the first time. Come
aboard and celebrate André's 75th birthday in style at your local cinema.

Especially for the American fans, we recorded some parts of the movie. Duration of the video: 33 minutes.
Ruud and I have been to the cinema in The Hague, Holland, twice. We loved the film "The Dream
Continues" from the first to the last minute. A great compilation of wonderful memories, as we attended
most of the showed concert-fragments: Vienna on two different places, Malta, Bucharest, Mainau,
Heidelberg, Maastricht, Efteling, Bahrain. The presentation was in English by Charlotte Hawkins, with
Dutch subtitles added. The editing was extremely good, with concerts blending into others seamlessly, very
nice to watch. The concert fragments were not interrupted by spoken texts. Charlotte did her connecting
texts and the interviews before or after the compilation of the concert parts. Beautiful music, beautiful
images, humor incorporated, but at the end we expected images of Pierre in the rowing boat on the Maas
(river), which we had seen in a short instagram video, posted by Pierre himself. At one point Charlotte did
say: “Let’s check if no one has fallen over board” but she did not check and continued her speech. Ha, ha,
poor Pierre, his stunt on the river did not survive the editing table! Aaw.
