André Rieu Adds to His Savings with Another Profit in the Millions
André Rieu had another financially successful year last year. All told, the concert promoter posted a profit
of over 18 million euros in 2025.
This is evident from the annual financial statements that Rieu filed with the Commercial Register. The profit
is virtually the same as in previous years. In 2023 and 2024, he also had over 18 million euros in profit.
More Concerts
Rieu has chosen to reinvest all of his profits back into the company. The 18 million euros has been added
to his reserves, bringing his equity to over 73 million euros. Not only has his net worth grown, but so has
the number of concerts the Maastricht native has scheduled. In 2025, he gave 79 concerts; by the end of
last year, Rieu had committed to 82 concerts in 2026. That number may have increased further over the
course of the year.
Outside the Netherlands
These concerts are by far Rieu’s largest source of revenue. He earned more than 60 million euros from
ticket sales, a quarter of which came from within the Netherlands. Just under 42 million euros in revenue
was generated in other European Union countries, and a small portion was earned outside the continent.
In addition to ticket sales, Rieu earned about 4 million euros from royalties, merchandising, and “other
revenue.” The company employs an average of 83 people. The vast majority of them are members of the
60-piece orchestra.
