Cinema movie of the 2023 concert. and the video “A current Affair” by Richard Wilkins.

With Richard Wilkins, an Australian TV presenter. Every year André Rieu takes over the town square in Maastricht, the Netherlands, to perform a number of sold out concerts with his Johann Strauss Orchestra. This year he hosted special guests, including a gospel choir, a pipe- and drum band of more than 100 members, soprano Dorona Alberti and the 15 year old school girl Emma Kok. This year his shows are called “Love is All Around” and André Rieu shares them with fans who cannot get to Maastricht, through a film being released in cinemas around the world. In Australia the film has a limited release on August 26 and 27, 2023.

Title of the Maastricht 2023 concerts: “Love is all around”. "Love is the music of our hearts, and it knows no boundaries. It is the most wonderful form of emotion and the most beautiful melody that we can play in our lives. Final interview by Pierre, at the end of the cinema film: “Love is all around”, which was shown in Dutch cinemas, on August 26 and 27. The next cinema movie "White Christmas" (Christmas concert 2022) will be shown in December 2023 (in most cinemas on December 2 and 3, but in the Netherlands on December 9 and 10 (tickets are already on sale)). On December 15,16 and 17 live Christmas concerts at the MECC in Maastricht.
